How to Create Shimmer Effect in Android ?

 Hello Guys , 

    In this tutorial , we are making the shimmer effect on the screen in android. shimmer effect is the most popular animation features that we see in the most android apps. we can use the shimmer effect for loading the data on the screen in animated form. we can make good user experience using shimmer effect.

Shimmer Effect on screen looking like below picture:

Let's get started.

Step 1 :  Create a new Project.

Step 2 : Add dependency of shimmer effect library in build gradle file.

implementation 'com.facebook.shimmer:shimmer:0.5.0'

   

Step 3 : Edit activity_main.xml file.

Step 4 : Implement MainActivity.java class file.
